QPSK

Quadrature PSK uses four phases (0, 90, 180, 270 degrees), carrying 2 bits per symbol. Doubles throughput relative to BPSK at a modest noise penalty. The signal has two independent components: in-phase (I) and quadrature (Q), each carrying one bit.
